Miguel Gutierrez studied Music Performance at UTRGV and has since become a vital member of the Valley Symphony Orchestra. He brings a unique flavor to his teaching from his time with the award-winning Mariachi Aztlan, an experience that deeply informs his approach to music. Miguel’s combination of classical and mariachi expertise, along with his participation in numerous music festivals, makes him a uniquely skilled and inspiring instructor for his students.

Ernesto Garza began studying violin at age 11 in McAllen ISD. He continued at Texas State University under Lynn F. Ledbetter, earning a Bachelor of Music in violin performance. Ernesto performed at the Interharmony Music Festival in Germany and Plovdiv Academy of Music in Bulgaria. He taught for the Texas State String Project and SMART Orchestra. Ernesto also taught in Comal ISD and Music & Arts in Central Texas before moving to Austin in 2018 and then returning to McAllen in 2022.

Originally from McAllen, Texas, Angelica Martinez is a distinguished violinist and instructor at Bosky Strings. She holds a Bachelor's of Music in Violin Performance from UTRGV and performs with the Valley Symphony Orchestra, enriching her teaching with her practical experience. Angelica has also participated in various music festivals and workshops, further honing her skills and knowledge. Her dedication to both performance and education allows her to offer a comprehensive and inspiring musical experience to her students.

Joel Lee Ozuna, the founder of Bosky Strings, discovered his passion for the violin at age 10. He studied Music Education at the University of Texas-Pan American, now known as UTRGV, and gained invaluable experience with the Valley Symphony Orchestra. In his teachings at Bosky Strings, Joel brings a unique perspective, combining insights from both crafting and playing string instruments. This unique approach not only enriches the learning experience for his students but also establishes him as a deeply respected and influential educator in the community.

Alicia Romero, a mom and musician, founded Tot Lot Music in January 2023 to introduce more activities for toddlers in the area. Inspired by the Kindermusik program's high-quality curriculum and its emphasis on whole-child development, she sought to create a similar enriching environment for young children. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, bringing her expertise and passion to Tot Lot Music.

Austin Rosales is an instructor at Bosky School of Music, specializing in Vihuela, Guitar, Guitarron, and Guitar de Golpe. Currently a sophomore at UTRGV majoring in Music Education, Austin is also a proud member of the award-winning Mariachi Aztlán of UTRGV. During his high school years, he earned the distinction of being an All-State mariachi musician in both his junior and senior years. Austin brings his passion and expertise to every lesson, inspiring the next generation of musicians.

Ally Garza Sanchez holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UTRGV and brings a wealth of experience to Bosky School of Music. With a background in teaching orchestra at Edinburg CISD, Ally is dedicated to nurturing musical talent and fostering a love for music in her students. Her expertise and passion make her an invaluable part of our teaching team.
